Section About

Danielle is the owner and operator of A Better U Massage Therapy, she graduated the OVCMT's 3000 hour diploma program in 2014. She is an active registrant in good standing with the College of Massage Therapy BC board, and is a member of the Registered Massage Therapy Association of BC.

Growing up in the North with a very big and close family, many with chronic illnesses, lead Danielle to learn the benefits of health and wellbeing. During her exploration into health and wellness jobs she found her passion for massage therapy during her 1st weekend course, she knew then that this was the place for her!

Through her own personal experience with injuries and chronic pain she has developed a deeper understanding and respect for the benefits of massage therapy along with other allied health professionals. She can relate to how stressful, demanding, and frustrating the healing process can be and is a proponent of self care. Danielle strives to maintain a balance between work + life, she recognizes the importance of creating the life you want to live in a whole and well balanced manner in all aspects, physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.

An empathetic, intuitive, compassionate, and authentic person, she brings warmth and strong presence to her sessions. Enjoys creating a safe, comfortable, and confidential space where you can make your physical and mental health a priority. Part of her love for the art of massage are the benefits to the mind + body.

Each clients journey to health and wellbeing is unique so treatments are tailored to the individual and with open and honest communication my goal is to find the root cause while providing support to the nervous system to encourage a deeper healing process. During treatment you can expect moderate to deep pressure which can be adjusted to lighter more generalized techniques depending on what is indicated or preferred. My hope is clients feel confident, capable, and empowered to take action and implement a journey into self care to help them become A Better U.
